METALLIC is a very,very old, but well a quite new way of painting. The ancient east painters and especially the iconographers of east-ortodqx church used a golden bronze ground for their works.
In modern time metalic ground is customary in a lot of color coverings,dont to speak of cars. The new in my technic is, that I use the metalic ground in a patchy way,to accent the light spots on the picture.
